Think I’ve never seen that?”     “But you seem so annoyed,” she said cautiously. “Is it that I’m friends with Roy? Please tell me that’s not it, that you’re not jealous.”     “Oh, because it’s all about what you want?” He was walking again.     “What?”     They’d reached the bottom of the stairs, and he stopped and turned to face her, his face harder than she’d ever seen it. The sickness was worse now, was actually making her feel a little faint.
