I planned to keep th...e jailhouse meeting brief. I figured Solomon would turn down the deal, probably angrily, but I wasn’t going to push him one way or the other. If he didn’t take it, Victoria and I would pay a visit to Benny Cohen. International criminal and pal of Putin.
On the phone, Victoria had said she would take the Metrorail to the jail, so we could travel in one car to Benny’s place. Which would not have been a problem, except it started to rain.
Not rain, as in an afternoon shower.
