“That’s not what I’ve heard,” she said, pulling her phone out of her pocket and thrusting it at me.
I looked down at the screen.
What the heck?!
It was a screenshot of a text conversation between “Joe Hardy” and “Lila Derroches.” Lila is a cheerleader who basically the entire male student body agrees is cute.
