Billionaire Prince
“He looks like a fairy tale prince in his tuxedo. My prince. That’s a silly thought. Though they keep telling me I’m a guest in his house, I’m sure that’s code for prisoner. After all, I’m still a thief no matter how much hospitality those around me provide.
“Your Majesty.” I say and bow.
“Lorelei, you look magnificent. Do you like the dress?” He says and smiles even wider.
“I do, thank you.”
“It’s the same color as the jewels you stole. I thought you would like it.” Prince Syed says and chuckles.
My heart starts to race, and I can feel a line of sweat beading on my forehead. He must see how panicked I am because he rushes to my side and places a reassuring hand on my shoulder. When he touches me, it feels like lightening striking.
“My dear. I’m so sorry. I was only joking.” He says but draws his hand back quickly.
