Stupid. I can’t believe I let emotions get in the way of my better judgment. I made myself vulnerable again, a tactical error. When was the last time I did that?

At least I know that Harper’s being guarded and followed by the best. Dirty and Charlie send me regular txt message updates through the night and morning, and I breathe a sigh of relief when Dirty calls to tell me they made it to her law firm’s fancy office without incident.MoreLess
