As we walk back toward his quarters, Tahir asks me, “How is the ataraxia at the Bratton household?”
“They mimic it like clones,” I say.
“Really?” says Tahir.
“Not really,” I have to admit. “Not only do I have memories, but I seem to be capable of making a joke.”
