Then he turned over and saw Beatrice standing in the full light of day, dressed in her standard pair of jeans, a red t-shirt and a hard glare that did not bode well for his chances of surviving the morning. “What are you doing in my room?” His voice was rough and gravelly from whatever had crawled down his throat. “Look around you, Slick.
