“Donuts, a happy smile pulling at her lips. “The eggs are cleaned off the front window.”
“I noticed. Grant made his brothers clean it off at five-thirty this morning.” Bobbie was glad to see her cousin happy. She scrubbed a sink full of donut pans and she hummed to the radio as the evening before played on a loop in her mind. After the best doggy-style of her life, she and Grant had spent the next hour just kissing before the mosquitoes made them pack up and leave.
Samantha gave her a sweet side hug, but her smile dropped as she leaned in to sniff Bobbie’s neck. “You’re mating with a Wright?”
Bobbie smacked her away with a hand full of suds. “That’s a weird thing to say. I don’t ‘mate’ with anyone.”
“I can smell him on you.”
“I was wrong. That is much weirder.” Bobbie raised an arm for a sniff of her own. All she smelled was deodorant with a light hint of strawberry frosting. She shrugged one shoulder. The joys of being in a bear family. “He’s helping me with my anger problem.”
