"I had learned of my mother’s death and then Fil came with word that I wasn’t needed any longer and that he had sold me to a Vampire. The guy came in and I swear he was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. His voice was like fine wine, so smooth and he was kind. He took my hand and lead me to another room and for a split second I thought I was saved. She took the bottle from Fangs and they shared a smile, not out of anything other than compassion. He was saying, 'It’s cool Ar. You can tell me.' and she was saying ‘I trust you fangs'.
