“She’d expected Ares to have some form of entertainment, but he sat with his hands folded in his lap. With his checkered shirt and blue-washed jeans, he almost looked like a normal guy, with a football player’s physique of course. Except, when she tilted her head the right way, his bronze skin glowed in the sunlight, just like Syrinx’s white-gold hair. The glow gave Syrinx an otherworldly look, and with Ares, it made him look irresistibly hot. Not to mention the fact he smelled like summer rain....
