»Morpho… what?« Maria wrote the term on a slip of paper. A little later, she carried a huge pile of scientific textbooks and magazines into the reading room of the library. At one point, the librarian heard Maria giv...e an exasperated groan, and she saw that she pushed quite a number of the books aside.
After about two hours of research, Maria returned the books and left the library with a piece of paper covered with notes about a topic that was either ignored by the natural sciences or simply denied. Like miracles. Or visions.
The feeling of being watched increased when she stepped outside. She stood in the square in front of the library and looked at the Pan sculpture that Peter had found so unsettling.MoreLess
