“Chase did have a “sweet” car. Elisabeth didn’t know very much about automobiles, but she liked the cherry color of Chase’s vehicle, including all the silvery chrome on the wheels and the front of the hood. Yet despite her appreciation for the car’s looks, she felt awkward climbing into the backseat.
