“Having left me a coffee, perhaps in lieu of an apology, Lily had subsequently spilt green paint on the hall floor, left a tub of ice cream to melt on the side in the kitchen, taken my door keys, with my car key attached, because she couldn’t find her own, and borrowed my wig for a night out without asking. I had recovered it from the floor of her bedroom. When I put it on, I looked as if an Old English Sheepdog were doing something unmentionable to my head. By the time I reached the church hall..., everyone else was sitting down. Natasha moved obligingly so that I could take the plastic chair beside her. ‘Tonight we’re talking about signs that we might be moving on,’ said Marc, who was holding a mug of tea. ‘These don’t have to be huge things – new relationships, or throwing out clothes or whatever. Just small things that make us see there may be a way through grief. It’s surprising how many of these signs go unnoticed, or we refuse to acknowledge them because we feel guilty for moving forward.’ ‘I joined a dating website,’ said Fred.MoreLessRead More Read Less

Was a pretty heart-warming book. Im a pretty young kid, and I love books that get me to think about several different perspectives. From what I've heard, the books and the movies live up to each other. Really nice book to read. :) For a less adult-y but something just as heartwarming, YOU MUST READ WONDER BY R.J PALACIO!!!! (sorry I can't recommend many adult directed books as a 12 year old, but Wonder is a book for all ages)

wow. I read the first book me before you and never new the story of Luisa contuse. I must have watched the movie every other day it was so romantic and touching. Emilia Clark what an actress, Sam Clafin made being handicapped look so real I had to literally google him to see if he was actually a handicapped person. Good acting skills Sam and Emilia I hope they will make the movie of Louisa life after her romance with Will. Jo Jo this this bookt was brought to my attention by a patient who read it on line. Bravo you now have a fan of your writing and can't wait to dig into the other books you have written. I am not going to read After You until I have a long weekend off with some me time as I don't want to be bothered by anyone.

Didn't want it to end...(welp). Couldn't stop reading. Loved the book to bits. and the choice of words is just excellent, simple and they resonate. there are some phrases and the thought of Lou, that i felt took me away to another place and actually think about life in general. felt all the emotions brought out in the book, laughter and joy, crying , sad. Thank you Jojo for a nice read.
