“Tante Perle’s shack drew a long shadow at the far end of the beach as the sun began its descent over Picasse Bay. Ribbons of waves ran across the teal green water of the channel, flecked with foamy whitecaps.Something else caught Meg’s eye as she ran. She stopped and shielded her eyes against the setting sun for a better look. Could it be the dolphins Tante Perle talked about?
