“Nora found herself enjoying it. It reminded her of childhood vacations, the only times her parents were ever remotely content, when they had gone to Williamsburg and Jamestown and Monticello and Appomattox, and in later years to Myrtle Beach and Nags Head and sometimes Carrowinds, a big amusement park in North Carolina.
