Money, or the lack of it, usually features in this category of emails and messages. All around the world some parent somewhere is sighing at the fecklessness of their offspring.
Claire and I collected Katie from Funky Monkey Internet. It was her favourite hangout that served fruit shakes ‘to die for, and so cheap’, as my daughter informed me.
“Come on, pumpkin, time to go,” I said.
She settled up with the pretty Balinese girl at the desk.
“Anyway, Dad, good news,” she announced as we started walking up the road.
