Julie said smiling. She and Steven were having breakfast at Amelia’s on Monday morning.

“Are you complaining, Mr. Davenport?” she asked with a smile. He shook his head and took her hand in his.

“Remember what happened two weeks ago when we were set to have a movie night?”
he asked. She squinted and shook her head.
“The trip you took to DC?” she asked. He nodded.
“And then that weekend when we were supposed to go to the Poconos?”
