“I think I’d rather break your thorn again than go through this,” he growled.
“It won’t be so bad. You’ll see.” She squeezed his hand again, looking up at him with the most beautiful smile on her face. Xavier gave a chuckle and a shake of his head. He would do anything for her. Anything.
A loud applause erupted as they walked in. Elves clapped him on the back with gusto. They seemed to be in awe of him. Congratulating both he and Esral. More than one male clasped wrists with him, by the look of admiration he could tell that they had been through the same as he had. There were knowing stares and nods, even looks of pity.
When York caught sight of him, the male vi...sibly paled as he ate up the distance between them in large strides, even knocking elves out of the way in his haste.MoreLess
